Sheraton is smoke-free. Sheraton Vistana Resort has designated the villa interiors, as well as the balcony and lanai, the enclosed areas around the swimming pools, and the children's play areas as non-smoking.

Violation of this smoking policy may result in a non-refundable $250 penalty.

There are designated smoking areas throughout the resort.

In addition, the resort observes local and state smoking ordinances that may prohibit smoking in some public places.

The Florida Green Lodging Program is a voluntary initiative of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) that designates and recognizes lodging facilities that make a commitment to conserve and protect Florida's natural resources.

The program's environmental guidelines allow the hospitality industry to evaluate its operations, set goals and take specific actions to continuously improve environmental performance.
