This property on the south side of the island (near Punalu‘u Beach) is a long way from other towns.

76 units, pool, spa,  bbq, washer/dryer in most or coin-op laundry.

The condo complex is mostly timeshares (though you won’t find any salesmen around) in the heart of Sea Mountain, a very remote region in the southern part of the island.

The grounds are pleasant and units, though not remarkable, are clean and consistent in decor through the above agent.

Think of this as an alternative place to stay if you want to explore Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park (28 miles away) but still want to stay near the shoreline where it’s more tropical (though the units are not beachside).

It’s quiet and peaceful. Lots of stairs at this property, mostly in the units themselves.

Closest (not cheapest) grocery shopping is in Hove.

Home to Kilauea, the world's most active volcano, you can safely explore lava tubes, hiking trails, and overlooks, at this amazing site. 

Your Polynesian style bungalow at Sea Mountain puts you a short 30 minute drive to this natural wonder, and others are even closer.  Located in the arid, isolated, undeveloped part of the island known as South Point, it is set well apart from the bustle of Hilo or Kona.

  Moments away from the legendary black sand beach, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and its own 18-hole golf course, sightseers will also want to visit Akaka Falls, a tumbling waterfall with a 442 foot drop. 

This is the Hawaii of old.  Where tradition lives on and the Polynesian island atmosphere runs deep.
