From that dock you can fish or crab with equipment rented at the Marina store and you haven't even left the resort. When you do wonder off, there are many attractions including aquariums, lighthouses, whale watching, and hiking, flying kites from the beach, cycling, bird watching, windsurfing, and more.

A week won't do it; you'll be back for storm watching in the winter by a roaring fire, or fall's 'second summer' with 'glowing sands' that are indescribable.
